It looks like the Baltimore Ravens aren't the only ones trying to distance themselves from Ray Rice!
The former NFL running back found himself out of a job yesterday after a video was released showing him beating his wife Janay Rice. But even though he won't be hitting the field in real life, he can still live vicariously through his avatar in Madden 15, right??
WRONG!
EA Sports has announced that they will be dropping Ray from Madden 15 COMPLETELY! They released a statement on decision, saying:
"With Ray Rice's indefinite suspension from the NFL, he will be removed from Madden NFL 15. This roster change will take place by this Friday."
That's right! Starting this Friday, Madden players will be able to download an update where Ray Rice will be erased from the Ravens' roster! In fact, he wont even be available as a free agent!
We gotta admit, it's a little sad that a video game company was able to act faster on cutting Ray Rice than the NFL did, but all that really matters is that it's game over for Ray Rice!
