At Least 49 Killed In Deadly Upstate New York Airplane Crash

Such a horrible tragedy.

Continental Airlines Express flight 3407 (operated by Colgen Air) from Newark, NJ, to Buffalo, NY, crashed into a home in Clarence, NY – a suburb of Buffalo – around 10:20 P.M. Eastern on Thursday evening.

According to early reports from the Buffalo News, the dead include 44 passengers, four crew members and a person on the ground.

Crew members had reported mechanical problems as they approached Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

No reason is known at this time as to what caused the horrific crash, which started a huge fire in the home.

Our thoughts go out to the families of all those lost.

So heartbreaking!
