There’s the boring way to celebrate Thanksgiving… with family and friends and sharing a turkey… and then there’s the Joey Chestnut way.
If Joey’s name sounds familiar that’s probably because he’s a famous competitive eater!
Joey is currently ranked first in the world by the International Federation of Competitive Eating, so it’s safe to assume he knows his way around a Thanksgiving meal.
At Foxwoods Resort Casino on Saturday, Joey’s competitors didn’t stand a chance when it came time to see who could eat the most of a 20-pound turkey in ten minutes.

The standing record was 5.25 pounds of turkey eaten in ten minutes, but Joey CRUSHED that record by eating 9.35 pounds of turkey in that amount of time!!
That’s insane!! But it won him $5,000 so it’s totally worth the gallon of Pepto-Bismol we assume he chugged as soon as he was done. LOLz!
We’re assuming he’s going to take a nap from now until next Thanksgiving! Congrats, Joey!
