Could Annie lose the box office before it even premieres?
Unfortunately the new film, starring Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhané Wallis, is the latest victim of hackers.

Annie has been leaked in its entirety, in DVD quality, from a watermarked awards screener after a hacking breach at Sony.
The breach does not bode well for the film’s chances; this year’s biggest box office flop Expendables 3 reportedly suffered huge losses when it was leaked just days before hitting the big screen.
The movie was leaked along with Sony’s other films Still Alice, Mr. Turner, and To Write Love On Her Arms. The Brad Pitt war movie Fury was also leaked, but seeing as how that already hit theaters a month ago, its box office results are safe.
Before this we would have bet our bottom dollar on the Annie‘s holiday season success. Now they’ll be lucky if anyone comes out tomorrow.
