You’ve been hearing about Melissa McCarthy‘s clothing line for a while now, and new deets are slowly but surely trickling out.

The name for the collection has been revealed and it’s to be called Seven7!
We also have a release date!
Manufactured by Sunrise Brands, the line is set to launch in stores and online on the actress’ official site, melissamccarthy.com, in August.
Online sales will be managed by Melissa herself and Gerard Guez, the chairman and chief executive officer of Sunrise Brands.
Melissa spoke of some of the inspiration behind the style of clothes she plans to make, saying:
“I think women want to be able to dress for their mood. My pieces mix and match, because some days we want to be rock ‘n’ roll and some days we want to be more polished. I love that I’ll be able to chat with other women about fashion and see how they’re wearing my clothes.”
Guez added that Melissa is “a skilled designer with a passion for her work and incredible attention to detail,” which makes sense since we know she went to school for design at the Fashion Institute of Technology!
She knows what she’s doing!
The Spy star will also interact with consumers via her website by providing occasional fashion commentary.
