A Rookie Cop Refused To Shoot A Double-Murder Suspect Who Was Asking To Be Shot & Shows How Helpful Body Cams Can Be!

This is why body cams should be required for ALL police officers!
A rookie cop from Ohio is being honored for staying level-headed on-the-job and not shooting a double homicide suspect even though the man was charging at him!
Officer Jesse Kidder caught an altercation between himself and a suspect on his body cam, which his family bought for him, and it illustrates just how life-saving the device can be.
The white male started running at Jesse while shouting ‘shoot me,’ but the former-Marine refused.

It’s nice to hear about a cop keeping his cool, and the fact that video was being recorded may have provided further incentive for Jesse to not shoot.
