It looks like Zayn Malik is ready to OFFICIALLY kick off his solo career!!
After leaving One Direction earlier this year and having a VERY public falling out with his buddy Naughty Boy, it’s been rumored that the 22-year-old has been trying to strike up a solo deal with RCA!
Well now it sounds like Zayn finally got what he was looking for and it’s all because of his good pal Simon Cowell!

That’s right! The same Simon Cowell who helped put 1D together in the first place JUST helped their former member sign with a COMPETING RECORD LABEL!!!
The former American Idol judge recently said he wouldn’t be surprised to see the rest of the member of One Direction take a little bit of time off and possibly split for good!
We have to wonder if he’ll help everyone else the same way he helped Zayn when the time comes!
