Melissa McCarthy is SUCH an inspiration!
Not only is she a HIGHlarious actress, but she’s also a total boss when it comes to branding her clothing line! At the end of last year, the 44-year-old announced she was going to launch her own line called Seven7.

But if you think you’re going to see a label that reads “plus-size” on any of the tags, think again!
The Ghostbusters actress isn’t a fan of that term because she says it makes women of certain sizes feel excluded:
“Women come in all sizes. Seventy percent of women in the United States are a size 14 or above, and that’s technically plus-size, so you’re taking your biggest category of people and telling them, ‘You’re not really worthy.’ I find that very strange.”
Melissa added:
“I just think, if you’re going to make women’s clothing, make women’s clothing. Designers that put everyone in categories are over-complicating something that should be easy.”
You’re absolutely right, lady! Clothing should be easy! Last month, we got a sneak peek at the movie star’s line, which she promised would include sleeves, jeans, and pockets!
And it’s clear Melissa has no intention of leaving any body type out! The sizes will range from 4 to 28, and NOTHING will cost more than $150!
We’re so excited for her line to launch! Are U?!
