Al Roker isn’t playing!
On November 21, Al posted a series of tweets recounting his awful experience with a New York City taxi.

Apparently, a taxi driver passed by Roker and his 13-year-old son only to pick up a white man a block away. Considering there was no reasonable explanation for the cabbie to make this decision, the weatherman came to the sad conclusion that the incident was motivated by race.
Ugh. Are we really living in 2015?! So awful if this was the case!

Filed a complaint today after getting passed up again by a NYC Yellow cab. Cabbie picked up a white guy a block away. Wonder why Uber wins?

It seems like Al handled this situation in the best way possible. We also appreciate how the 61-year-old pointed out that not all cab drivers are at fault — shame on those “bad apples”!
