On Wednesday, a new song leaked featuring the One Direction alum’s vocals in the chorus of Wiz & Juicy’s track titled You.

The soulful singer’s pipes seem suited for the hip hop hook, while both rappers deliver strong verses on the TM88 production.

But before you get all excited thinking that this might be the 22-year-old’s first solo single, the English crooner is setting the record straight.
After the audio surfaced, the 1D hunk took to Twitter to explain that the track was just a demo that wasn’t supposed to get out, writing:
Hearing that I’ve got a single out lol thats a surprise to me that’s a one take scratch demo I was writing with someone as an idea for them
