Our hearts are breaking for Patton Oswalt.
On Friday, the actor’s publicist revealed that his wife, Michelle McNamara, has passed away at the age of 46. The rep explained that the comedian’s love died in her sleep on Thursday night.
So far, no cause of death has been released.

The member of Patton’s PR team said Michelle’s death “was a complete shock to her family and friends, who loved her dearly.”
So sad.
The lovely lady was a crime writer and founded True Crime Diary, a website that covered current investigations, breaking news, and even cases that had gone cold.
She received her undergraduate degree from University of Notre Dame and got her master’s from University of Minnesota.
Michelle is survived by her husband and their seven-year-old daughter Alice.
