On Monday, the Canadian crooner was spotted in Boston before he’s set to perform his Purpose World Tour at the TD Garden on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Buuuuut we couldn’t help but notice he was caught on camera missing one crucial part of his wardrobe… his shoes!

That’s right, the superstar was strolling around Beantown barefoot! The celeb was spotted strutting through the Public Garden and crossing those busy streets entirely sans shoes!

Some shots showed a man following the pop performer around with his footwear! Sooooo strange!
As weird as this wardrobe choice is, it’s possible that the hitmaker decided to ditch his shoes because he was just, um, enjoying the weather?
He did take to Instagram to post some snaps of himself enjoying the beautiful outdoor weather:

The 22-year-old also uploaded this black-and-white selfie (above) of himself lounging on the grass, captioning it:

And bare feet on city streets are the doors to infection! LOL! We kid, we kid. Kind of.
