Amber Heard‘s controversial claims against Johnny Depp could really hurt his new movie.
On Friday, the 30-year-old received a restraining order against her estranged husband after alleging he drunkenly attacked her over the weekend by throwing a phone at her face, bruising her mug.

The blonde’s court appearance comes only days after she filed for divorce from the eccentric actor, and actually on the very day of the theatrical release of his new movie, Alice Through The Looking Glass.
Once word got out about the 52-year-old’s alleged attack, fans flocked to Twitter to defend the gorgeous gal, slamming those who claim she’s lying.
Social media users wrote:
Y’all (rightfully) went after Chris Brown for being abusive and misogynistic but are defending Johnny Depp now. Hmm… #ImWithAmber

#WeStandWithAmber Johnny Depp might be an amazing actor but that tells us nothing about what kind of person he is

In fact, some people even called other internet users to boycott the 52-year-old’s followup flick to Tim Burton‘s Alice In Wonderland, writing:
Boycott Alice through the looking glass and every other Johnny Depp movie #WeStandWithAmber
