Wow, we didn’t see this one coming!
According to TMZ, Amber Heard has officially dropped her defamation lawsuit against Johnny Depp‘s friend Doug Stanhope. The legal development comes on the heels of Heard reaching a divorce settlement with Depp.

For those who don’t remember, the actress went after Doug for bashing her in an op-ed. The comedian also went on Howard Stern to voice his suspicions over A.H.’s intentions.
Per a source connected to the situation, the Texas native’s truce with Johnny required her to drop all lawsuits connected to her spousal abuse allegations. Very inneresting!
As for Amber’s feeling on the matter, her team stated:
“Amber is moving on, getting back to work and leading a normal, happy life.”
Well, let’s hope everyone truly moves forward following this resolution — it’s about time!
