Lauren Jauregui is speaking out after her weed bust on Tuesday.
The Fifth Harmony singer only received a citation after getting caught with marijuana at Dulles Airport this week. But even though she wasn’t arrested, the brunette still missed her girl group’s Brazil show for Sao Paulo’s Fun Pop Fun Festival.

On Thursday, the 20-year-old broke her silence about the scandal, taking to Twitter to apologize to her Harmonizers in Portuguese, writing:

In English, the message reads:
“My dear Brazilian harmonizers, I’m sorry I couldn’t see you all. I didn’t get on the plane on time and because of this I had to go to Atlanta. I promise you I’m going to do everything for you because I love each of you with all my heart. I’m sorry.”
Considering the gorgeous gal’s fans were chanting “Lauren eu te amo,” in her absence, and got #FreeLauren to trend after her possession bust, we’re sure they understand and accept her apology.
But after she said she was sorry, Miz Jauregui called out the media for paying so much attention to her surprising scandal, exclaiming outlets should focus their efforts on covering the crisis in Aleppo:

Meanwhile, Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Camila Cabello, and Dinah Jane Hansen haven’t spoken out about Lauren’s controversy, but they did thank their fans in Brazil for supporting their show:
obrigado BRAZIL ☺️ we were only there for less than twelve hours but your love made it feel like an eternity. I can still hear you sing 💚✨💚
