This is terrifying!!
Two-time Wimbledon champ Petra Kvitova was injured by a knife-wielding burglar in her home in the eastern Czech Republic town of Prostejov on Tuesday morning.
The 26-year-old tennis player took to Twitter shortly after the attack to let her fans know that she was “badly injured” on her left hand, but is “fortunate to be alive.”
It’s unclear how the attack will affect Kvitova’s play, as she is left-handed.

Prostejov police spokesman Frantisek Korinek said authorities have launched a manhunt looking for the suspect who is believed to be a male around the age of 35. It’s reported the attacker made off with about $200 in cash.
