The Family Feud host got a bit of heat last week for offensive jokes he made about Asian men on The Steve Harvey Show.
In case you were lucky enough to miss it, the comedian joked about a self-help book called How to Date White Women: A Practical Guide for Asian Men, laughing off the idea that anyone would find Asian men to be sexually desirable.

The 60-year-old received much criticism for his tone deaf jabs — filled with gut-busting punchlines like “I don’t even like Chinese food!” (ugh) — and even sparked an open letter from Fresh Off The Boat author Eddie Huang discussing the damaging history of such insulting remarks.
On Tuesday, Harvey spoke out on the criticism and offered an apology to all those who were offended by his words.
Sharing the note on Twitter, the funny man said his jokes were “not meant with any malice or disrespect,” writing:

Hopefully, Harvey really took this to heart and isn’t just apologizing for the sake of it — but only time will tell if he comes up with more fresh (unoffensive) material!
