Stuff like this scares us to death!
A female Cirque du Soleil performer was performing a swing-to-swing act during LUZIA in Marymoor Park in Washington when she missed, fell, and landed on her back.

The show was stopped as the woman was taken away on a gurney to be treated.
Awful. A performer was just injured on stage at #LUZIA. We’re all being asked to stay seated as she’s treated. #komonews pic.twitter.com/hibqFnuRbf

According to Cirque du Soleil organizers, the woman is currently stable and conscious, and was not taken to a hospital.
They said:
“All safety protocols were respected and the artist was immediately assisted by the emergency intervention team of LUZIA.”
After the performer was taken off stage, the act (the final one of the show) was restarted. Organizers also stated that future showings of LUZIA would continue as scheduled.
We hope the performer recovers quickly!
