David Dao is seeking justice.
United Airlines should probably start gearing up for a legal battle against the doctor, who was violently dragged off an overbooked flight on Sunday.
On Thursday, the injured traveler’s legal reps held a press conference with his daughter, Crystal Pepper, and renowned aviation lawyer, Tom Demetrio, and corporate law specialist, Stephen Golan, present to address Dao’s next steps following the controversial incident.

Taking the mic, Demetrio called out the “bully” airline for not showing their client common decency and respect, while announcing that there will “probably” be a lawsuit regarding the incident:

During the conference, we also learned that the 69-year-old, who will need reconstructive surgery, suffered a broken nose, a serious concussion, and lost two front teeth during his aggressive removal from plane:

Crystal, one of David’s five children, took the opportunity to thank everyone for the outpouring of support during this “horrific” time for her family, saying:
“What happened to my dad should never happen to any human being.”

Not only will Dao’s reps be going after United, but they feel the city of Chicago is also responsible:

Demetrio went on to point out that they have two years to file a lawsuit, but promised it will not take that long to get to State court — while also mentioning that United CEO Oscar Munoz nor his people have reached out to them directly in the wake of the incident.
Whew, Dao’s people are NOT messing around! Better get ready, United!
