Hannibal Buress is either a comedic genius or the laziest person alive.
On Wednesday, the Broad City actor took to Twitter and requested leads for a “lookalike with solid comedic timing for an event.” Well, it appears the event the 34-year-old was talking about was the El Lay premiere of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

And although the funny man has a role in the highly anticipated summer blockbuster, Hannibal either didn’t feel like attending the Tinseltown event or just couldn’t make it as he sent a doppelg├â┬ñnger in his place. HIGHlarious!
Not only did Buress 2.0 hit the red carpet, but he also did INTERVIEWS with the press. The stand-up expert revealed the switcheroo on social media as he shared:

We’re dying. When called out for the stunt online, Hannibal clapped back with claims that the bit was a form of “extreme FOMO.” AH-Mazing!
And Hannibal’s stand in, named Joe Carroll, certainly had a good time as he took to Instagram and dished:
