50-Acre Wildfire Erupts In Los Angeles & Continues To Rage - Here's What's Going On

This is terrifying!
We’re hoping everyone in Los Angeles is staying safe as a 50-acre fire continues to rage through the steep slopes of Sepulveda Pass — which has now shut down the heavily-traveled Interstate 405 through the Santa Monica Mountains.
Unfortunately, the fire has been uncontrollable due to the extremely high winds — thus causing water-dropping planes and helicopters to be grounded. More than 220 firefighters have been battling the fire, which is fast-growing with winds over 25 mph.

Nearly 200,000 people have been ordered to evacuate and the flames have reportedly destroyed about 200 homes. It’s being referred to as the #SkirballFire and the #GettyFire as the fire approaches those landmarks.
