It’s not just Tom Brokaw himself who has been vehemently denying all the sexual harassment allegations he’s facing down this week — DOZENS of his female colleagues at NBC have now officially come to his aid!
The backers including hosts and on-air personalities like Rachel Maddow and Andrea Mitchell, as well as 61 other women who work at the TV media company, all of whom signed an open letter backing Brokaw today.

According to the letter, the women — who are on-camera and behind-the-camera, in both news and executive roles with the network — have together worked with Tom for all of the past four decades.
They’ve decided to come out in show of supporting him against the allegations because “he has given each of us opportunities for advancement and championed our successes throughout our careers.”
That, of course, flies in the face of the two very vocal former coworkers of Brokaw who have accused him of maxing unwanted sexual advances at different points during the 1990s.
At least in this case, it sounds like there is no shortage of powerful, capable women to come to an accused man’s defense. As for what this may say about his guilt or innocence… well, we’ll see how things play out in time.
Thoughts, Perezcious readers?!
