The NBA Is PISSED At Drake For Beefing With Cavs Player Kendrick Perkins On The Court!

As a Raptors superfan, Drake can sometimes get a little too into the games. So much, the NBA apparently needs to remind him he’s NOT actually playing for the team!
ESPN reported that the league issued a warning to the rapper about his “use of bad language” after he traded angry words with Cleveland Cavaliers player Kendrick Perkins during Game 1 of the team’s playoff series this week.
Drake, who sits courtside for the Toronto’s home games in Air Canada Centre, first sparred with Perkins as the teams left the court during halftime Tuesday night. The two engaged in heated trash talk again at the end of the game, but were separated before things could escalate.

A league source revealed that Kiki Vandeweghe, exec vice president of basketball operations, later spoke to Raptors president Masai Ujiri about the issue.
When asked about the warning issued to Drizzy, the Cavs’ center told ESPN he was “here to support my teammates,” making it clear that he wasn’t afraid to throw down if the Nice For What performer didn’t back off:

“At the end of the day, it isn’t about Perk versus Drake; that doesn’t even sound right. It’s the Cleveland Cavaliers versus the Toronto Raptors. Besides, what could he possibly do to me? I mean, really. If he leaves me alone, I’ll leave him alone, and that’s all there is.”

Yikes. Drake may be the face of the Raptors fan base, but he’s facing some real trouble if he doesn’t cool his jets!
