A young Malian migrant will be made a French citizen after climbing four floors of an apartment building to save a 4-year-old child dangling from a balcony!
According to the office of the French presidency, Mamoudou Gassama has been offered a job by the Paris fire brigade thanks to his heroic feat, which was performed in front of a crowd of cheering onlookers on Sunday.
Video of the rescue showed the 22-year-old scaling the building in the span of about 30 seconds. He had already pulled the child to safety by the time emergency services arrived on the scene.

President Emmanuel Macron invited the Mali native — now known as Spider-Man — to ├âΓÇ░lys├â┬⌐e Palace on Monday to be given a certificate and gold medal for performing the act of courage.
Gassama told Macron he “didn’t think about it,” but simply “climbed up and God helped me.” We’re sure some adrenaline helped, too — and maybe a radioactive spider bite.

The father of the boy who was rescued has been charged with “failure to meet parental obligations,” a French official told ABC News. Instead of watching the child, the father had reportedly been out grocery shopping and playing Pok├â┬⌐mon Go.
The charge against the unnamed father carries a sentence of up to two years in prison. He was released from custody after questioning, and awaits a trial scheduled for September.
