Uber Driver Shoots & Kills Passenger After Altercation In Vehicle

A Denver Uber driver shot and killed a passenger in their car early Friday morning, according to police.
Officials say the driver shot the adult male passenger multiple times a little before 3 a.m. on Interstate 25 after the two got into some kind of altercation inside the vehicle. The driver called 911 to report the shooting.
Responding officials attempted to perform CPR on the passenger at the scene, but the unidentified man was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police are looking to speak with witnesses as they work to confirm whether the driver was working and whether the rider was a paying customer at the time of the shooting.
The unidentified driver is being interviewed at the Denver police department headquarters.
