Despite appearances, Joe Jackson has not been tweeting from his deathbed.
Paris Jackson took to Twitter to address a poignant message sent from her ill grandfather’s account that came after several outlets reported he was in the “final days” of his terminal cancer battle.

On Sunday, the patriarch’s account tweeted a photo of him marveling at a sunset and wrote:
“I have seen more sunsets than I have left to see. The sun rises when the time comes and whether you like it or not the sun sets when the time comes.”
Beautiful… but not written by Joe — something Paris felt the need to address shortly after the tweet was sent.
Noting she was upset by whoever was running Joe’s account and seemingly “taking advantage of it,” the 21-year-old replied:
this is a beautiful tweet. though it upsets me to see whoever is in charge of this account taking advantage of it. my grandfather did not tweet this. i’m not sure if he’s ever used this account. https://t.co/KU6jikCD7G

Well, that settles that.
Paris was a lot more appreciative for the love she received from those not running Joe’s Twitter account. She added:
thank you all for the love you’ve sent during this time.

It’s a rough week for the Jackson family. Not only is Joe in the hospital, Monday marks the anniversary of Michael Jackson‘s death.
