Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been on an official royal tour through Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga, but Meghan’s scheduled 15-minute visit to the Suva Municipal Market in Fiji was cut short due to a “security risk.”
Thankfully, the Duchess is okay, and it was the large crowds that prompted her early removal from the market, where she was set to discuss Markets for Change, a United Nations project dedicated to female empowerment.

This isn’t the first shift in Meghan’s schedule on the Royal tour though. The Palace issued a statement on Saturday that she would be doing some cutting back on her packed schedule:
“After a busy programme, The Duke and Duchess have decided to cut back The Duchess’s schedule slightly for the next couple of days, ahead of the final week and a half of the tour.”
This isn’t surprising considering she recently announced her pregnancy, and we’re so glad Meghan and baby are okay!
