Fox is pulling out all the stops to ensure that their musical-dramedy, Glee, holds the attention of EVERYONE!
First, expect to see the first soundtrack of the show released through Columbia Records very soon. The disc will feature 17 songs from the hit show’s first season, including Queen‘s Somebody to Love, Neil Diamond‘s Sweet Caroline, Kanye West’s Gold Digger and Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ (of course).
Then, get ready to take to your Twitter pages as Fox uses the social networking site to boost ratings on their repeat episodes. They are calling the events “Tweet-peats”, where viewers can re-watch favorite episodes on the Fox network while getting the exclusive chance to talk to cast members and producers through Twitter.
This Friday, the network will re-air the Glee pilot with cast members Kevin McHale and Lea Michele among others Tweeting behind-the-scenes details and answering fan questions, which can be followed online and on-air via a Twitter scroll near the bottom of the screen.
If this in any way interests you, make sure you go to Twitter.com/GLEEonFOX to follow the event.
How many of U are buying into this ratings scam excited to participate?
