Sh-Sh-Sh-Shanghai!

Shanghai is unreal!

Though we’ve never been there, we imagine this is a lot like Dubai. It’s all sooooo…. NEW!

The architecture in Shanghai is other-worldly. Ginormous skyscrapers. More skyscrapers! Just tall, tall buildings. And they are all so new. This is the opposite of Beijing, which is steeped in a rich history.

We went all the way to the tippy tip top of Beijing’s Pearl Tower, one of the largest buildings in Asia. Being up that high made us a bit nauseous, but it was well worth the experience. That view is pretty insane! And being able to walk over glass at such a high altitude made our heart race just a weeeeeeee bit faster.

In Shanghai, they will sell you just about anything and everything in on the street and at the local markets. We had a super fun time strolling through the shopping areas and negotiating with the vendors for the best price. We’ve found some really special items.

We head to Hong Kong tomorrow, which we’re really really looking forward to.
