How does this happen?

John Lennon‘s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is missing.

Did someone get a brilliant idea for a last minute Christmas present while stumbling home from a bar?

Currently, there’s just an “empty outline of a star” on Vine Street, which has since been covered up with a plastic bag and tape.

Classy, Los Angeles, very classy.

There is some speculation that the star may not have been stolen and was simply removed for Ringo Starr‘s dedication that will take place in February.

We hope that’s the case.

Besides how can anyone get away with stealing a brass star out of the asphalt? In Hollywood!?
