Exciting!
Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish are still discussing plans to adopt despite being disappointed by the rejection from the Ukrainian government to adopt a boy named Lev because of their sexuality.
They have promised to support Lev financially and now they are looking into other options for adoption in 2010! Furnish says:
“We’re going to Venice [for Christmas], we have an apartment there. We’re checking out our options and that’s part of what Christmas will be about – a chance to get off the treadmill and chill out. There is a lot to talk about.”
