Spoke Too Soon!

Though The Book of Eli took a nice lead from Avatar on Friday, the flick couldn’t sustain it for the whole weekend.

Now, for the fifth week in a row, Avatar has taken the top spot at the box-office, bringing in $41.3 million in the last three days. Book of Eli now sits at a comfortable 2nd place.

Something tells us that the only movies that are going to knock this flick off its throne will involve a superhero, a boy wizard, or a vampire.

Do we have anything like that coming anytime soon?
