“QAMP! provides GLBTQ-identifying youth and their siblings a week-long, traditional summer camp experience. This camp will give youth ages 13-21 who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or questioning their sexuality or gender a chance to enjoy a week outdoors with their peers. QAMP! is open to youth nationwide.

QAMP’ers can take part in a wide range of activities like canoeing, swimming, camping, climbing walls, sports, arts and much more. Along with these fun activities and programs, they will gain friendships, memories, self-confidence and life skills in a safe, nurturing community of their peers and highly trained staff.

QAMP! takes place at One Heartland Center, which is surrounded in a beautiful north woods setting just 90 minutes north of the Twin Cities. One Heartland Center is accredited through the American Camp Association.

Some partial and full scholarships are available for youth and families of need.”
