So so sad!
Over the weekend, Designing Women sweetheart, Dixie Carter, passed away. Many loved and adored this woman, including her co-stars from the hit 80s show.
Annie Potts has come forward to say a few words about her wonderful friend, but also shed some light as to what may have caused her death. Annie describes Dixie as “beautiful and brainy, smart and funny, prim and sexy, wickedly talented and divinely sweet.”
In her statement, she called Dixie a “goddess,” even while she was battling endometrial cancer.
How awful!
Though Annie didn’t say how long her friend suffered, she did relish in the good memories she shared with her friend and colleague. She said:
“To have known her a little was a delight to all. To have known her well, a treasure beyond reckoning. And now, a loss beyond measure.”
Well said. We’re sure she will be greatly missed.
