Roger Ebert To Write A Memoir

Film critic Roger Ebert is writing a memoir, which will cover his writing career, his battle with thyroid cancer and his friendship with the late Gene Siskel. Ebert confirms:

“Yep, I’m writing the book, but I’m not talking about it. I didn’t make that announcement. I subscribe to the old theatrical maxim: Don’t leave it in rehearsal.”

The yet to be titled work is due for a release in Fall 2011.
