Giraffe Is Startled By Confetti Cannon At Holiday Celebration In South Carolina

This ain’t right!
Charleston, S.C. held their annual tree lighting event in their downtown area on Saturday, and to get things POPPING right, the city brought in a 2-year-old giraffe named Melman.
BUT… what the event coordinators and apparently the handler didn’t know was that as soon as the Confetti Cannon went off, Melman was gonna react abnormally.
Even though the tall beautiful patterned mammal’s owner, Mark Nisbet said he IS trained to make public appearances, he obviously was NOT feeling that dang cannon.
Fortunately, Nisbet said Melman went “back to normal” when they got home.
