A.J. McLean of the Backstreet Boys proposed to girlfriend Rochelle Deanna Karidis on stage at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Wasted Space nightclub! A witness describes the scene:
“He got up on stage and the DJ turned the music off. He asked her to come up on stage and he got down on his knee and she squatted down with him.
“He asked her and she said yes and hugged him. He took the ring out of his pocket and put it on her hand. She seemed very surprised and didn’t seem to know why he was getting on stage.”
His friends were said to be surprised as well, who all knew that he was going to propose, but not on that night! Apparently he bought the ring just a few hours before at the Hard Rock Hotel’s jewelery store, Rocks.
Maybe he was inspired by the ambience and clientele? The club, hosting a party for the website, “Naughty America,” was filled with visitors to the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo convention.
Romantic?
