Smart move! You’d never know it was actually a decent show unless you watched it!
Courteney Cox‘s surprisingly good ABC comedy, Cougar Town, isn’t getting the accolades it deserves because of its shiteous title, so series co-creator Bill Lawrence just announced that when it comes back next season, it will have a new name!
He says:
├óΓé¼┼ôYou would be hard-pressed to watch the last three episodes of the show and asked anyone for titles I doubt anyone would say ├óΓé¼╦£Cougar Town.’ Partly as a result of common sense and partly from [the studio’s] research, they find too many instances of testing of people saying they would never watch a show called Cougar Town ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ ├óΓé¼╦£I don├óΓé¼Γäót want to see some show about a 40-year-old woman nailing younger guys.’ And then they screen an episode, and people go, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, I would watch this show.├óΓé¼Γäó”
We agree! It just sort of sounds like a VH1 reality show with that name!!
What do U think they should re-name Cougar Town??
