Not so much! The end is going to be the end!
Last night, UCLA hosted a Lost Live event, a finale celebration that included a panel with the cast, a live symphony playing the score and a screening of next week’s episode.
But what fans really wanted from the evening was some affirmation that this wouldn’t be the end and perhaps, hear about plans for a movie. But the show’s creators are nixing that idea. As far as they are concerned, it is never going to happen. Carlton Cuse explained:
“The chances are very little. We don’t have any intentions of doing that. This is the story we wanted to tell and it ends next Sunday night, and we were incredibly grateful that we got a chance to do it.”
Damon Lindelof explained:
“The thing that made Lost, Lost, was the idea of doing something different and unique and the idea was special and unexpected. We could never even try to replicate this thing. We would both die happy if Lost is the greatest television achievement of either of our careers. I hope we work together again, but who knows what it’ll be.”
