“Bobby├óΓé¼Γäós Haven was founded by Chase Ferrell on March 23, 2010 as a haven for gay youth who have been exiled by family and friends, or gay youth who just simply need some advice or comfort during their coming out process. We want to show gay youth that suicide is not an option. It is also an outreach for confused parents of gay youth. The non-profit organization was inspired by the true story of Bobby Griffith, and was also inspired by Matthew Shepard and his mother, Judy Shepard.”
