Aaron Carter‘s dentist is making shocking claims about the late singer amid his family’s legal battle!
As we previously reported, the 34-year-old pop star died in November 2022. His official cause of death revealed that Xanax and huffing led him to drown in the bathtub. And nearly a year later, his ex-fiancée, Melanie Martin, filed a lawsuit on behalf of their son, Princeton Lyric Carter, alleging that his doctors, dentists, mental health clinics, and pharmacies were negligent and prescribed him various medications that caused his death.

The lawsuit alleged the medical professionals prescribed Aaron Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, and Alprazolam (generic form of Xanax) with zero medical justification and despite knowing his “mental health and psychiatric condition.” Melanie further argued the amount of drugs, along with his history, should’ve been a red flag for them. One psychiatrist and mental health clinic settled their part of the suit in April. However, Walgreens, a Santa Monica pharmacy, and a dentist didn’t. That dentist is now fighting back against the claims in the lawsuit by sharing jaw-dropping allegations of his own about the former Broadway star.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ on Monday, Jason Mirabile revealed he plans to introduce evidence in court to dispute the allegations that Aaron’s 4-year-old son lost out on time with his dad. What does he mean? The dentist claimed Aaron wasn’t a good father, and there was even a Department of Children and Family Services investigation against him! Whoa! Mirabile stated DCFS staff members will be witnesses in the upcoming trial.
In the filing, he also shut down the accusation that the Crush on You artist was earning millions at the time of his death. Mirabile noted he thinks Aaron’s family will argue that the performer was making millions per year from various sources of income “that he would continue earning such income the same way, and that he planned to tour in 2023.” He insisted the loss of financial support is highly disputed and there is no proof Aaron made 7 figures in the years before he passed away.
At this time, Aaron’s family has not addressed the allegations that he was under investigation by the Department of Children and Family Services. There are also no details on why he was allegedly being probed.
