The former NFL player is currently facing a trial for the unrelated double murder of Daniel de Abreu and Safrio Furtado in 2012.
And now he’s facing ANOTHER charge!
According to the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office, Hernandez shot a witness to the double murder just a few months later in 2013!
The unidentified witness survived the shooting, so Hernandez is now being indicted on a charge of witness intimidation — which could add another 10 years to his sentence.
This is in addition to his previous charges of first-degree murder, armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
