According to reports, Hernandez was in shock as the verdict was read. He had plead not guilty for the June 2013 murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.
The jury deliberated for an entire week after the 6-week trial.
This verdict carries a penalty of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
After sentencing, Hernandez will face yet another trial, this time for two shooting deaths in Boston.
