ABC has renewed Shaq Vs., the reality show starring NBA star Shaquille O’Neal competing against other athletes in their respective competitive fields, for its summer line-up.
In the first season Shaq took on Misty May-Treanor, Oscar de la Hoya and Michael Phelps among others and despite being given a handicap advantage, he lost every single competition.
Next season could feature the basketball player in non-sports competitions like spelling bees and competitive eating, but the producers say that the show will still mostly revolve around sports.
