Bad news.
Actress Felicia “Snoop” Pearson of The Wire was arrested in a drug raid that resulted in more than sixty people being brought in!
The DEA declined to say what charges they were bringing against her, but we’re sure we’ll know soon enough.
This wasn’t her first problem with the law either:
She was convicted of second-degree murder in a slaying committed when she was 14. She served five years of an eight-year sentence and was released in 2000.
Pearson was arrested on a minor drug charge in 2008 when police went to her home to pick her up for refusing to cooperate as a witness in the trial of Steven Lashley, who was accused of stabbing three men, killing one, in an adult-entertainment district in downtown Baltimore called “The Block.”
It’s such a shame to see someone get a chance for redemption and allegedly throw it away (innocent until proven guilty, yeah?). If we remember correctly, she did a FAB job on the show.
Not good at all.
