We guess he’s taking the high-road approach – or sort of, at least!
Adam Levine has responded to Simon Cowell‘s suggestion that there should be a sing-off between the respective winners of The Voice, X Factor, and American Idol – by implying that worrying too much about the competition deters from the quality of your own show!
He explains:
“Simon’s just so clever. He’s so hell bent on competing with other shows. We’re not really interested in a way… That’s kind of a cool idea, actually, but I’m not so sure we’re totally interested in what everyone else is doing. We’re just kind of worrying about what we do ‘cause we all know the more we worry about everybody else, the more the quality of what you’re doing tends to suffer. So, we want to just do what we do.”
Well, there you have it!
A very respectable and thought-out answers – with some thinly-veiled burns thrown in for good measure!
Wonder what Simon is going to have to say in response to that! You know he wants the win here!
