Famed director, producer, and choreographer Adam Shankman has check himself into rehab this morning.
A rep for the man behind Hairspray and Step Up confirmed:
“Adam Shankman is currently seeking treatment in a rehabilitation center. His friends and family support him and wish him well on his journey to recovery.”
The decision comes after Adam was seen enjoying a night among friends on Sunday for the Trevor LA Live event honoring pal Jane Lynch.
His close friend Zac Efron secretly finished a rehab stint. He was also one of the very last people to talk to Cory Monteith before his fatal drug and alcohol overdose.
While the reason for the decision remains unknown, we are SO proud that he was brave enough to take the first step on the long road to recovery.
We believe in you, Adam!!!
