Earlier today we read in The National Enquirer that 68-year-old soul singer Aretha Franklin has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, but we’re SO SAD to hear that The Detroit News has also confirmed the story.
Her publicists could not be reached for comment, but the Detroit News cited a close relative as the source of the confirmation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Queen of Soul a as she battles this terrible disease.
