Oh thank goodness! The goddess finally got out for some fresh air!
Adele went to New York to receive a very special plaque commemorating the sale of 5 million copies of 21! Yeah, girl, you totally did!
But the real thought is this — will she be at the Grammys!?! With her throat problems, nobody really knows for sure.
Even Neil Portnow, the president of the Recording Academy, doesn’t know! But he wants her there just as much as we do! He says:
We’re always in touch with her representatives. Obviously we’re fans. She’s done incredibly well in the nominations, but really first and foremost has gotta be her health. We’ll be watching and waiting and hoping, and if she’s well and able, we’d love to see her there.
Uhm, ya! If she’s not there, there’s probably gonna be a whole lot of “accepting on the behalf of” if ya know what we mean!
