We don’t know whether this story is happy or sad, but one thing’s for sure, it’s certainly inspirational!
Adele Rivas‘ family had a history of cancer. Her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early ’40s, so at 34, Adele thought she was too young to worry about the disease.
What she wasn’t too you for, though, was trying to have a baby!
But tragedy struck as she and her husband were in the early stages of trying to get pregnant when she found a lump in one of her breasts.
As she was about to undergo an MRI, a persistent voice in her head told her that the magnetism could effect her ability to carry a child.
And Adele sure is lucky that she listened to that voice, because when she found out that she definitely had cancer, she also learned that she was most likely pregnant at the same time!

Adele decided to keep the pregnancy and to take her chemotherapy intermittently, since she wouldn’t be able to have children for years after the treatment.
And this story ends with good news!
Adele gave birth to a healthy, little boy named Conatantino back in March, two months after she officially finished her cancer treatment.
